Hirkani Aangan is an excellent choice for a family stay! The rooms are spacious and clean. We got lucky by getting a room with a fabulous valley view and used to get chirping birds each morning as guests on the balcony.
The food is homemade and delicious.
Location is right between the ropeway boarding and the start of the walk way, so best for both kinds of people.
If you are looking for a reliable and genuine guide, then ask for Shubham at the hotel, who does the guiding best himself.

recently visited Hirkani Aangan and tried their veg thali, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with a mix of traditional Maharashtrian and homely tastes. Each item in the thali — from the sabzi to the dal and chapati — was well-prepared and served hot.
The staff was polite and attentive, and the overall ambience was clean and comfortable, giving a nice family-friendly vibe. The quantity of food was also satisfying for the price.
I especially liked the taste of the bhaji and sweet dish, which added a special touch to the meal.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was absolutely impressed. From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. The view from the room was stunning—waking up to such a beautiful scene every morning was a dream.
The room was spacious, clean, and very well-maintained, with every comfort thoughtfully provided. I especially loved how cozy and peaceful it felt.
The food was another highlight—every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality and taste were consistently top-notch.
The staff were also incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.

We had a wonderful stay just below Raigad Fort! The Hirkani Aangan gave us a true “home away from home” feeling.
The food was absolutely delicious, just like homemade meals, and every dish was prepared with so much care. The rooms and surroundings were spotless, and the cleanliness was impressive.
On top of that, the stunning view of the fort and surrounding hills made the experience even more memorable.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Raigad! 👍🏻

The location of this hotel is 2 minutes away from the Raigad ropeway point. The room I booked was quite big having a great view from the attached balcony. Room, beds, bathroom all were satisfactorily cleaned. Service was satisfactory too.
Special mention for the food, which was quite tasty and reasonably priced . The vibe is very homely.
Highly recommend for stay option at Raigad.
